They are looking for high-potential LGBTQ+ leaders who identify as transgender and/ or nonbinary, women, people of color, and/or people with disabilities, to apply to participate in the third cohort of the fellowship.

We strengthen the infrastructure and skills within organizations and systems to enable them to be responsive and accountable to the needs of trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive communities. We cultivate trusted relationships to foster accountability and facilitate open communication when issues of privilege and discrimination arise.

Motivational Interviewing for Beginners

This event provides an overview of Motivational Interviewing as described in Miller & Rollnick’s 3rd edition of their now classic work published in 1991. Basic information is presented for those unfamiliar and interested in learning more about this evidence-based intervention. For others, it will provide a review and/or update. We’ll cover the definitions, 4 processes, basic skills needed, and terminology used.
